Cleinman Performance University provides a comprehensive range of premier educational experiences and motivational trainings to optometrists and students of optometry across North America. Custom sponsor packages for education, including an on-line presence at webinar instruction, on-site presence at education workshops and an advertising presence, can be timed and constructed to your specifications.
Doctor Education
Our continuing education presentations for optometrists at Cleinman Performance Network meetings provide four hours of COPE approved content for practice management or clinical training. Typically presented by our OD members as a pre-meeting seminar, recent programs have included topics in Ocular Surface Disease, Electronic Health Records, Eyecare for Children and Infants and the Treatment of Macular Degeneration. Sponsor information is provided during and at each seminar. Where appropriate, optometrists discuss the benefits and uses of sponsor products in diagnosing and treating patients.
Staff Education
Cleinman Performance University’s two-day immersion workshops for staff deliver thought-provoking content in both practice management and technical training. Unique to the industry, our workshops are modeled after Cleinman Performance Network’s wisdom sharing model for doctors. Facilitated by bona-fide experts in the field, participants share their own experiences, learning best practices and working through professional challenges. Sponsors contribute to workshop content with equipment and materials and support workshop attendance through travel and accommodation vouchers.
Graduate Connections
The Graduate Connection Grant Program brings select third-year optometry students’ to Cleinman Performance Network meetings, with the intention of connecting students with highly successful optometrists. Members of Cleinman Performance Network represent leading opportunities for graduating optometrists, as owners of growing practices are consistently working to identify new associates and develop practice successors. Prospective associates must have a balanced combination of both clinical skills and business acumen.
Graduate Connections begins with a high-energy, on-campus presentation by Al Cleinman, President and CEO of Cleinman Performance Partners. Third-year students in attendance are then invited to submit a grant application to attend an upcoming Network meeting. After a thorough vetting process, including an interview with the senior team at Cleinman Performance Partners, the grant award winner attends a Cleinman Performance Network meeting in either Dallas or Chicago, where they participate fully in the wisdom-sharing model, networking with Members and leaders in the industry.
For these students, hearing Al Cleinman’s presentation is career inspiring; attending a Network meeting is life changing.
Contributing sponsors to Graduate Connections make Al Cleinman’s on-campus presentation possible and support the attendance of each award winner at Cleinman Performance Network meetings. Relative to the level of participation, sponsors receive numerous acknowledgments on-site at participating campuses and Network meetings, on collateral material, and in our Virtual Network website.
